Lauren: Feature Bride | Classy Concepts Bridal Boutique

Picture white hydrangeas, thistle, eucalyptus, a stunning bride, handsome groom, chicken fried steak, and all things cowboy. Lauren and Patrick said, “I Do” in true Texas style on October 14, 2017 in Fort Worth. She was searching for the perfect gown to compliment her cowboy chic theme, and all agreed, she did!

THE DRESS
Lauren was in search of a gown that was classic and timeless. She originally insisted on a gown with sleeves. By keeping an open mind and trusting our staff at Classy Concepts Bridal Boutique, her perfect dress was not what she expected! This Allure Bridals’ strapless beauty completely took her by surprise, and it was clear that this was her dress. “I think the ladies at Classy Concepts really know what will look best. Keeping an open mind made such a difference for me!”, she said.

We love this fit-and-flare dress for her, because it’s simplistic details take center stage. The luxe taffeta is draped so elegantly as it floats throughout the European sweetheart neckline all the way down to the bubble hemline. It’s finished off with a tasteful train that left a lasting impression as Lauren walked down the aisle to meet the man of her dreams.

WEDDING DETAILS
Lauren and Patrick selected the National Cowgirl Museum & Hall of Fame for their ceremony and reception. An intimate ceremony was held inside, and guests were able to enjoy the cultural district ambiance as they danced the night away outside around the outdoor fountain.

For Lauren, sharing this special day with friends and family from all over the country, is a moment that will be cherished forever. Special memories and details were sprinkled throughout the day, and it really was a family affair. Her uncle, Jim, performed the ceremony, and the arrangement of the bridal party was especially meaningful. Patrick’s children, Mackenzie and Adam, walk down the aisle with his father, Mike. Patrick’s uncle, Bill, was his attendant, while Lauren’s brother, Cade, escorted her down the aisle.  Lauren was also so proud to have her nieces, Embrey and Hadley, in the bridal party.

Lauren and Patrick put special thought into every single detail of their wedding day. Several finishing touches from Ava’s Bridal Couture’s rental selection were added to further compliment the theme. Wine barrels were used to create their alter space in the museum. A rustic ladder was selected to display their spice jar favors, and easels used for various purposes throughout the ceremony and reception. The metal “LOVE” sign display added another extra rustic touch, and their delicious petit fours were presented on a few of our many display trays. “I cannot praise Sue and all the staff at Ava’s and Classy Concepts enough.”, Lauren said.

Lauren and Patrick would like to give a special thank you to Tommy Morton, of the National Cowgirl Hall of Fame, Jo Hatchell, Ashley Davis, and Janet Settle for serving as the day-of coordinators, and their parents and families for being there to support them on this very special day.

Allegra: Feature Bride | Ava's Bridal Couture

A beautiful Catholic wedding with traditional Mexican flair best describes Allegra and Cesar’s wedding day. They said, “I Do” on May 28, 2016, and will forever cherish the memories made with their family and friends. Allegra had a vision for her wedding day, and it was our job to help her find a gown that would complement every other detail.  THE DRESS  After an unsuccessful bridal appointment at another shop, Allegra found herself at Ava’s. Feeling a bit discouraged, she explained her wants and needs to her consultant. She was looking for an all lace gown, white or off-white in color, a decent train, and some sort of sleeve. Kelly, her consultant, pulled several styles for Allegra, keeping her requests in mind, and throwing in a few other styles to reinforce her original requests. Allegra was pleasantly surprised to have loved a number of these gowns, but still reverted to a gown that almost matched her vision exactly; Allure Bridals’ Style #2800. This gorgeous s

Happy Mother's Day Wifey's!

One of the oh so many things I love about bridal shop happenings... the meaningful relationships. We meet a bride, she buys her wedding dress... the end, right? I sure hope not! Over the past 12 years in business, I have met some of the most amazing men and women who were once customers at some point in time.  They definitely bought more than "just a dress" or "just a service".  We make so many memories together, form a relationship and that relationship is so special!  No two customers are ever alike. You would think after 12 years it would get old.  Would it be the same day after day?  Year after year?  Same old stories, same old song and dance? Thankfully for me, it doesn't! Today's blog, I am thinking of all of our past brides who became a wifey after saying "I Do".  Perhaps the journey as a wife means you want to become a mom. Maybe you have decided you want a family with kiddos...  Maybe you are marrying into a family with children... Maybe y

New Building Under Construction Nearby!

You won't need to drive far from our current location on Debbie Lane to see us at our new building under construction! After 10 years making Debbie Lane our "home" for Say Yes to the Dress moments and memories, we reached a crossroads and made a big decision to merge the two locations while under construction.   How can we keep up with new generations and stay on the cutting edge for our two stores?   Our current lease at 1205 E Debbie Lane ended at the New Year of 2018.  We secured an awesome new property for our bridal business to focus more on customer experience, convenience and online shopping! Many of you have seen Ava's Bridal in Fort Worth grow this past year in our new building on Camp Bowie.  The space on Camp Bowie is nearly 3 times the square footage of our previous space.  This past year in our new building has been a dream come true.  We are so thankful for the response received from past, present and future customers and have grown our onl
