Sandy and Denis' Wedding

Oh What a day!! It's Friday and I am thankful. :) Zach and I were able to attend Sandy and Denis' special day and it was so nice to enjoy this time with them. It was a special weekend all around for us and for them! Here are photos of the blushing bride herself and her handsome Groom! All of the photos were complimentary of Ron Parks Photography. Zach and I had a great time talking with Ron at the wedding. He did a great job with their photos. You can contact them and view his website at www.ronparksphotography.com Thank you again to Ron Parks for the use of these photos!

New Arrival: "Dee" Wedding Gown

Here is one of our newest arrivals to our bridal room.  This bridal white gown has covered buttons along the back zipper.  The empire waist bodice has detail with a floral beaded vine design. The 3 layer organza overlay make a simple yet elegant detail that is so soft and romantic. The back of the dress continues the 3 layers of organza over lay.

Customer Testimonial

Working with Sue was an absolute pleasure. She’s thorough, organized, and service-oriented. We lived overseas while our home was being built, so we communicated almost entirely through the internet. Sue responded to our e-mails promptly and at length, answering every little question we had along the way. Even better than that, she installed an instant messaging program on her computer and came online late in the evening to chat with us at a time that would work for us. The time difference could have been a problem, but Sue made sure that it wasn’t. The actual design process was a lot of fun, even from a distance. Before she got started, Sue asked us a lot of in-depth questions in an effort to get to know our likes and dislikes. She asked us to send her pictures of rooms that we liked, and then she followed up by asking us what features in particular we liked about each room. Then she got started on the design work. We needed a lot of guidance; we had never built a home before, and w

Custom Drapery

This stunning estate home is located a few blocks South of the Austin Oasis restaurant on Lake Travis. The architecture and design are incredible and it was a pleasure working with this homeowner on the window coverings. Here is the second picture view of the dining room drapery. We loved the tassel tie backs and how they brought in elegance and appeal to the design. This was one of the upstairs guest rooms. Absolutely beautiful drapes to accentuate and already amazing view. Another guest bedroom picture. The custom hardware was selected by the owner. Beautiful. You can almost see the lake view past the windows.... What a classy concept!

Sleepless in Seattle

Meet my friend Jennifer. She is a Doll! Recently, we traveled together to Seattle, Washington to have a great weekend trip of fun, sights and a few bridal shops too! We did not take any photos at the bridal shops we visited, but we did get a chance to see some great sights that were picture worthy. Pikes Market is one of the places you have to see for yourself to appreciate. Fresh flowers of every kind, local vendors selling everything from roasted nuts and meats to handmade pottery-- to name a few. I had so much fun watching the vendors at the meat market throw fish at people! Walking around and seeing the displays from the vendors was a great way to spend the day. The Seattle Needle. You can see it from almost anywhere in the city. We also toured several amazing wineries in the surrounding areas. This was one that particularly caught my eye becuase of its modern design. Being in Texas, I am so used to seeing the wineries being so rustic and old. You wouldn't believe

Custom Drapery

We went to Berhen's Ranch in Round Rock, Texas this month to install a simple yet classic looking full panel drape. These were constructed in a faux silk Robin's Egg Blue main panel fabric which was a great cost savings for the high end look we were going for! The bottom solid faux silk taffeta in chocolate brown is what makes this drapery truly custom. We love that simple detail that makes a world of difference in the design. With full interlining, you cannot see through these drapes which make it great for Saturday morning cartoons when the sun beams out of the picture windows. Function and beauty... What a classy concept!

Custom Drapery

The Ranch at Brushy Creek. I wanted to share this new home we recently installed drapery for in Round Rock, Texas. The design of these panels included a 30" cuff at the top of the panel, a coordinating fabric band between it the panel fabric. The main fabric was a broomskirt finish which brought in a texture. They turned out very dramatic and went great with the hobbled Roman Shade from B & W Window Coverings. The fabrics they offer go great with the fabrics that our homeowners are ordering. Here is the side view of the entire panel. I loved this maching valance above the kitchen window! What a great way to bring in the fabric to match every room in this open area that needed coverings or softening. What a classy concept!
