Grand Opening Cocktail Party- "Classy" Style!

Zach and I want to say a SPECIAL thank you to all of you for making our grand opening such a fun night!  The people  photographed below AND ALL THOSE WE DIDN'T GET IN A PICTURE were so kind to join us in a special celebration and we can't say enough how we feel!  This was a "come and go" type of party and we know we didn't get everyone pictured, but we know you came to support us and got to talk with all of you!  To everyone who showed support at the party, showed support from day one when we opened and who continue to show your support... we are so grateful.  We want to thank our family, friends, customers, team, and our partners in business.  It is because of all of you that we are here to celebrate hard work of our expanded location & Grand Opening!
This has been an incredible journey and we are thrilled to have all of you in our lives. <3 br="br">
(We also have pretty pictures of the store to upload as well.  As soon as we get those ready, we will blog those in a separate entry.  For this blog entry... we want to feature our supporters!)

Our friends at Creekside had a beautiful display of items that our brides would LOVE at their gift shop. Check out their new location in Mansfield in the Target Shopping Center.
Daydreaming Daisies had SO MANY beautiful arrangements throughout our bridal boutique and we LOVED enjoying each and every one!

Wonderful guests enjoying the music, food and door prizes!

Belinda and Jim with JaBel Productions! They kept the mood perfectly with the right choices of music to keep the night fun! No one wanted the party to end and was sad when it was time to end the music because they did SUCH a great job with the DJ, Emceeing of Door Prize Winners and the reception lighting too!  For all of our brides, JaBel Productions is our preferred DJ and Lighting company for your special day.  Please give them a call and check out the wonderful reviews on Wedding Wire where brides are expressing their experience on their wedding day with this great company.  We are so excited to recommend them to our clientele!

Our friends over at the Target Shopping Center (remember our original location?)  Ron and Cecilia, owners of 5 Edible Arrangements Franchise locations from Tyler, Fort Worth, Cedar Hill and Mansfield were our neighbors at our original store in the Target shopping center.  They wanted to come celebrate our new location and share with brides the fruit towers that they customize for your wedding colors and your special day! What a great idea for favors, sweets bar, and reception?!  Who doesn't love chocolate dipped apples, strawberries, pineapple and bananas from EA!

Guests of the party are showing off their door prize winnings!  Door prizes were announced at the end of the night and many guests enjoyed FAB door prizes.

Our consultant Loye is pictured with her family who came to the party to show their support!  We loved having her family at the party and were so glad they could make it!! If any of you have had the privilage to work with or talk with Loye, you know that she is such a classy lady.  We are so glad to have her charm, her smile and her beautiful heart to learn from each and every day!

Sue is gearing up for the party to begin!  Before guests arrived, she was getting all the door prizes together and ready to register our guests.  Don't you just LOVE the arrangements that Kari from Daydreaming Daisies brought to display her talents?!  Loving the black and white theme she put together for us with the crystals in the flowers too! So glamorous!

Here is our adorable bride and groom who recently got married this year!  Her bridal portrait is hanging on our wall of fame and we are so honored to be a special part of her life.  As you can see, they are a BEAUTIFUL couple and have a wonderful family now and in the years to come.

I apologize for this picture being sideways.  I have tried several times to flip it, save as and then upload but even though on my screen it looks right... the upload never does. :( I am going to ask some experts on this and edit this post when I find out how to fix this.  But, for now... it's too darn cute not to post!

Seda is enjoying the party with her son and husband! We love when our families can be part of our fun to share in these moments together!  We appreciate all the hard work Seda puts into her role and so happy to work with her each and every day!  She is a joy!

Loye and Cecilia are taking time away from the party to snap a shot in our photo booth!  We had the Classy Concepts Truck out and ready for some photography fun!

Our favorite friends (Sou and Sue) are joining Sue in a fun picture from our photo booth.  (Yes, that would be Sue to the 3rd power.  How many times do you meet 3 ladies named Sue all sitting in front of the Classy Concepts truck?) Sou and Sue are from Adastaff who we have depended on for years for our payroll services.  For any one in need of staffing, payroll services, and everything in between... we HIGHLY recommend them.  They have several locations in the DFW area and are SO professional, friendly... and judging by this picture--- very fun and supportive of your business!

Our FAVORITE florist and preffered vendor for our Classy Concepts Brides is none other than Kari with Daydreaming Daisies (pictured on the far left next to Sue and Cecilia).  She helped all day long with our grand opening in providing her talents and creativity with the flowers you saw throughout the entire store during our grand opening.  Many of her arrangements went home as door prizes and several guests are still enjoying them today!  If you are a bride and need a caring, fun, spunky, creative, talented, professional, timely, sweetheart to help you manage and maximize your floral budget... look no further!  Call Kari and see her new studio in Mansfield.  She is minutes from our bridal salon and she would LOVE to chat with you about your vision.

Lynnca Harvey Photography Door Prize set up! Congratulations to the lucky winner who won the free mini-engagement session for her upcoming wedding!!!  Lyncca is our preferred photographer for all of our Classy Concepts Brides and she has an amazing studio in Fort Worth.  Though most of her work is on location, you can call and set up a meeting with her at her office and chat with her about your special day.  All Classy Concepts brides will receive a special pricing offer for purchasing their dresses through our salon that you won't want to miss!  Just call her and get to know Lyncca... you will instantly fall in love with HER as well as HER WORK and TALENTS!

Going back to our previous location by the Target shopping center.... our two neighbors (Edible Arrangements and Creekside Collections) are missed already! We are excited about our new neighbors, but we saw them every day for over 3 years and it's hard to move on sometimes.  So, we stay in touch!  We recommend the BEST gift shop in town as voted in 2010, 2011 and 2012 by choice!  If you are looking to make your invitation SPECIAL... check out their invitation tiles that you can transform your wedding invitation to a stone tile masterpiece to hang on your walls!  They also carry Bridal Bibles like the one you see on the left here.  You can also check out the glassware, flutes and picture frames too!  We love this gift shop and hope you will check them out! (they moved into our old location in suite #346 by Edible Arrangements!  Their new location is to die for.  They feature Vera Bradley, Brighton, Gracious Goods and other fine products.)

Here are some of the AWESOME door prizes we gave at our Grand Opening Including: 1 FREE Mini Engagement Session from Lyncca Harvey Photography, 2 Movie Packs for you and your Honey from JaBel Productions, 5 Edible Arrangement Gift Cards, 5 Bridal Bags and Veils from Classy Concepts, 4 Vera Bradley Gifts from Creekside Collections, 3 Floral Arrangements from Daydreaming Daisies, 3 Sweets gift cards, 1  Bridal Teeth Whitening from Willow Tree Dental in Mansfield.  (I think I got all of them! It was a great night of gift giving!!!)

All of our guests got to tour our new location and see all the new decor, spacing and dresses!  We had so much fun seeing new and familiar faces!! Many of our current and past brides came out to celebrate with us and that meant SO MUCH!

With the cold front that came in, we had our very own Smore's bar for our guests to enjoy. You could roast a marshmallow OR just sit by the cozy fire!  The party was indoor/outdoor, so we had fun in every corner!

Here are Ron and Cecilia Bolar- owners of Edible Arrangements enjoying their awesome table set up at the party!

Wilson enjoyed her beautiful door prize from Daydreaming Daises!  It's ALWAYS good to see Wilson!

Taking some time away from the party to snap a quick shot in front of our photo booth!

Viveca was our "bartender" for the night.  Needless to say... she was a hit! :)   To fit our Black and White theme... we served Black Cherry Punch and White Peach Punch as well as other cocktails too.  Viveca is always the life of the party and we love her happy personality that fills the room!

Cecilia, Reyna and Sue are hamming it up at the photo booth  and keeping it fun!  Cecilia did such a great job organizing the photo booth!  We loved taking pictures with all the props she collected for the party.   Who doesn't love the great job Cecilia does each and every day with her customers!

One of our family friends brought us this amazing hand painted Spanish Coconut Jello dessert that we will always treasure.  Thank you Lupe for making such a beautiful surprise for us to share with our guests!!! I know a lot of time and work went into this dessert and we are so appreciative that you thought of us!!!

Here are Viveca and Loye winding down the party with pictures together!  They are a couple of wonderful ladies that I admire.  They are truly special to our brides but also to our team.

Melody and Justin- a current Classy Concepts Bride with her Groom.  Melody is going to be a GORGEOUS bride in her wedding in 2013 and we can't wait to see what Justin thinks of her wedding gown!  Cheers to all of our brides and grooms out there that are so special and important to us!!!

Jayne and Gary drove all the way from Fredrickburg area  to come celebrate with us!! They get the award for traveling the furthest!  We are so grateful for the time that they took to show us support and for all the help they offered throughout the party!

Other family friends made this yummy fruit salad and cake (Our friends Cleo, Lupi and Marie).  We want to say a special thank you for making this cake gift for our Classy Concepts family to enjoy.  We appreciate you so much for your love and support!!!  We know a lot of time went into this cake, fruit salad and jello dessert.... we are so thankful.

Allegra: Feature Bride | Ava's Bridal Couture

A beautiful Catholic wedding with traditional Mexican flair best describes Allegra and Cesar’s wedding day. They said, “I Do” on May 28, 2016, and will forever cherish the memories made with their family and friends. Allegra had a vision for her wedding day, and it was our job to help her find a gown that would complement every other detail.  THE DRESS  After an unsuccessful bridal appointment at another shop, Allegra found herself at Ava’s. Feeling a bit discouraged, she explained her wants and needs to her consultant. She was looking for an all lace gown, white or off-white in color, a decent train, and some sort of sleeve. Kelly, her consultant, pulled several styles for Allegra, keeping her requests in mind, and throwing in a few other styles to reinforce her original requests. Allegra was pleasantly surprised to have loved a number of these gowns, but still reverted to a gown that almost matched her vision exactly; Allure Bridals’ Style #2800. This gorgeous s

Happy Mother's Day Wifey's!

One of the oh so many things I love about bridal shop happenings... the meaningful relationships. We meet a bride, she buys her wedding dress... the end, right? I sure hope not! Over the past 12 years in business, I have met some of the most amazing men and women who were once customers at some point in time.  They definitely bought more than "just a dress" or "just a service".  We make so many memories together, form a relationship and that relationship is so special!  No two customers are ever alike. You would think after 12 years it would get old.  Would it be the same day after day?  Year after year?  Same old stories, same old song and dance? Thankfully for me, it doesn't! Today's blog, I am thinking of all of our past brides who became a wifey after saying "I Do".  Perhaps the journey as a wife means you want to become a mom. Maybe you have decided you want a family with kiddos...  Maybe you are marrying into a family with children... Maybe y

New Building Under Construction Nearby!

You won't need to drive far from our current location on Debbie Lane to see us at our new building under construction! After 10 years making Debbie Lane our "home" for Say Yes to the Dress moments and memories, we reached a crossroads and made a big decision to merge the two locations while under construction.   How can we keep up with new generations and stay on the cutting edge for our two stores?   Our current lease at 1205 E Debbie Lane ended at the New Year of 2018.  We secured an awesome new property for our bridal business to focus more on customer experience, convenience and online shopping! Many of you have seen Ava's Bridal in Fort Worth grow this past year in our new building on Camp Bowie.  The space on Camp Bowie is nearly 3 times the square footage of our previous space.  This past year in our new building has been a dream come true.  We are so thankful for the response received from past, present and future customers and have grown our onl
