Working with Sue was an absolute pleasure. She’s thorough, organized, and service-oriented. We lived overseas while our home was being built, so we communicated almost entirely through the internet. Sue responded to our e-mails promptly and at length, answering every little question we had along the way. Even better than that, she installed an instant messaging program on her computer and came online late in the evening to chat with us at a time that would work for us. The time difference could have been a problem, but Sue made sure that it wasn’t.
The actual design process was a lot of fun, even from a distance. Before she got started, Sue asked us a lot of in-depth questions in an effort to get to know our likes and dislikes. She asked us to send her pictures of rooms that we liked, and then she followed up by asking us what features in particular we liked about each room. Then she got started on the design work. We needed a lot of guidance; we had never built a home before, and we had never worked with a designer. She took digital pictures of our options and e-mailed them to us. Taking our likes and dislikes into account, she made great suggestions. We took almost every one of her suggestions; when we didn’t, Sue cheerfully made the changes we requested.
Throughout the build of our home, Sue went far above and beyond what we ever could have asked for. Because we lived overseas, she kindly offered to take pictures for us of the process. For more than six months, she came to our house every single week and took pictures. Then she uploaded them to the internet and e-mailed a link to us. Sue took more than 1500 photos! She is incredible, and I highly recommend her. She will succeed in any endeavor because of her outstanding work ethic and her commitment to providing excellent service.

They said, “I Do” on May 28, 2016, and will forever cherish the memories made with their family and friends. Allegra had a vision for her wedding day, and it was our job to help her find a gown that would complement every other detail. THE DRESS After an unsuccessful bridal appointment at another shop, Allegra found herself at Ava’s. Feeling a bit discouraged, she explained her wants and needs to her consultant. She was looking for an all lace gown, white or off-white in color, a decent train, and some sort of sleeve. Kelly, her consultant, pulled several styles for Allegra, keeping her requests in mind, and throwing in a few other styles to reinforce her original requests. Allegra was pleasantly surprised to have loved a number of these gowns, but still reverted to a gown that almost matched her vision exactly; Allure Bridals’ Style #2800. This gorgeous s
