Picture white hydrangeas, thistle, eucalyptus, a stunning
bride, handsome groom, chicken fried steak, and all things cowboy. Lauren and
Patrick said, “I Do” in true Texas style on October 14, 2017 in Fort Worth. She
was searching for the perfect gown to compliment her cowboy chic theme, and all
agreed, she did!
THE DRESS
Lauren was in search of a gown that was classic and
timeless. She originally insisted on a gown with sleeves. By keeping an open
mind and trusting our staff at Classy Concepts Bridal Boutique, her perfect
dress was not what she expected! This Allure Bridals’ strapless beauty
completely took her by surprise, and it was clear that this was her dress. “I
think the ladies at Classy Concepts really know what will look best. Keeping an
open mind made such a difference for me!”, she said.
We love this fit-and-flare dress for her, because it’s
simplistic details take center stage. The luxe taffeta is draped so elegantly
as it floats throughout the European sweetheart neckline all the way down to
the bubble hemline. It’s finished off with a tasteful train that left a lasting
impression as Lauren walked down the aisle to meet the man of her dreams.
WEDDING DETAILS
Lauren and Patrick selected the National Cowgirl Museum
& Hall of Fame for their ceremony and reception. An intimate ceremony was
held inside, and guests were able to enjoy the cultural district ambiance as
they danced the night away outside around the outdoor fountain.
For Lauren,
sharing this special day with friends and family from all over the country, is
a moment that will be cherished forever. Special memories and details were
sprinkled throughout the day, and it really was a family affair. Her uncle,
Jim, performed the ceremony, and the arrangement of the bridal party was
especially meaningful. Patrick’s children, Mackenzie and Adam, walk down the
aisle with his father, Mike. Patrick’s uncle, Bill, was his attendant, while
Lauren’s brother, Cade, escorted her down the aisle. Lauren was also so proud to have her nieces,
Embrey and Hadley, in the bridal party.
Lauren and Patrick put special thought into every single
detail of their wedding day. Several finishing touches from Ava’s Bridal
Couture’s rental selection were added to further compliment the theme. Wine
barrels were used to create their alter space in the museum. A rustic ladder was
selected to display their spice jar favors, and easels used for various
purposes throughout the ceremony and reception. The metal “LOVE” sign display
added another extra rustic touch, and their delicious petit fours were
presented on a few of our many display trays. “I cannot praise Sue and all the
staff at Ava’s and Classy Concepts enough.”, Lauren said.
Lauren and Patrick would like to give a special thank you to
Tommy Morton, of the National Cowgirl Hall of Fame, Jo Hatchell, Ashley Davis,
and Janet Settle for serving as the day-of coordinators, and their parents and
families for being there to support them on this very special day.
