Behind the Seams

To all of you who have not invested the best $25.00 you could possibly spend at your neighborhood HEB for a flu shot vaccine, please take it from anyone who has the flu... you really need to get your flu shot! I will admit, I was afraid to go because I thought it would make me sick and because I am not a fan of needles. This was quick and painless even though I got the shot a little too late- as I know have a major cold. Have a great week and stay well! If you are sick, stay home. We don't need your germs. :)

Amy, Christa, Savannah and I planned a Sunday afternoon to have brunch at Chez Zee followed by a matinée of the new hit movie 27 Dresses . We topped off a great day of laughs by coming to the store as Amy tried on wedding dresses for an upcoming event. I recommend that all girlfriends share this time together with the chick flick we can all relate to.

Meet my friend Elizabeth Elias! I would like to introduce her for a couple of reasons: 1. She is a dear friend of mine and one of the first ladies I connected with in a lasting friendship upon moving to Austin several years ago. 2. She represents the Driskill Hotel in a big way. Not originally from Austin, I have depended on Elizabeth as the "go to girl" to find out what is hot for Austin. She has been in this area most of her life and considers Austin her home always. She is the wife of Nadim Elias as they were wed over a year ago. You can find Elizabeth Walker Elias utilizing her dynamic talents and creativity at Austin's historical Driskill Hotel. She is the Director of Catering & Conference Services and leads an amazing team within her department to orchestrate special events at this world class hotel. Exciting News! We will be moving into our new store located in the Legends Village Business Park within the next few weeks! As soon as we are all moved in, we will look forward to assisting our clients. We will be available for walk-ins at that time as we are currently by appointment only. We are looking forward to showcasing the 300 gowns we will have available for 2008 which will be arriving just in time for our grand opening. Sunday, February 10th, 2008, the Austin Wedding Mall will be featuring their Bridal Expo at the Hilton Hotel in Downtown Austin, TX. (500 East 4th Street) Classy Concepts Bridal will proudly be exhibiting its newest arrivals of bridal and bridesmaid gowns as well as offering 10% off any purchase (not valid on past orders) for all new bridal parties who register at our exhibit the day of the show. The show begins at 1pm and ends at 5pm. There will be a fashion show, great prizes and lots of great vendors with information to help you plan your special event.
